Staycation: Zen Rooms Millenia Tower Ortigas – 3-Bedroom Penthouse Suite

Here’s yet another staycation blog for you guys – I booked an inexpensive 3-Bedroom Penthouse Suite at Zen Rooms Millenia Tower Ortigas thinking that it would be the venue for when my friends and I shoot a video of us playing different card/board games and it was just what I needed.

The suite has:
2 Queen Beds and 1 Single Bed (Non-Smokingroom; good for 5 pax and with built-in cabinets)
Living room
Dining room
Kitchen (complete with rice cooker, pans, plates, cups and utensils)
Free WiFi
Flat-screen TV with cable channels
2 private and 1 common toilet and bathrooms
free toiletries (good for 2 pax)
Air conditioning
Indoor Pool

Book Now Check-in time is 03:00 pm and check-out time si 12:00 noon. Please take note that they require a ₱2,000.00 deposit upon check-in. It will be returned upon check-out if you do not incur any extra charges during your stay. They do not charge additional fees for bringing your own food/beverages and you can also have food delivered to you at the front door should you wish to order food from any of the restaurants nearby. Some hotels only allow delivery guys up to lobby/front desk/reception area but since Goldland Millenia Tower houses multiple accommodation providers (Zen Rooms Millenia Tower Ortigas is one of them and its reception or front desk is at the 24th floor), then I guess they just allow food delivery guys up to their customer’s front door – just inform call center rep or indicate on mobile app your room # and flr for delivery address of your order.

Upon check-in, the receptionist asked me to sign some papers that says I agree to the policies after she discussed the following:

• Infant-Children (0-7 years old) can stay for free if using existing beds
• Guests 8 years and older are considered as adults
• Guests are allowed until 10:00 pm only
• No smoking
• …and other applicable fees if you extend your stay or violate any other policies, etc.

They gave us a small bag of toiletries which is good for 2 people only even though the booking was for 5 pax. Good thing the rooms are very spacious. The aircon can be switched on/off from the circuit breaker located in one of the cabinets in the kitchen. The rooms, beds and linens are clean but the floor and glass windows – not so much. The kitchen is decent except for the stove which looked greasy and dirty and the cabinet door below the sink which was already askew. I couldn’t really complain – we’re not using those anyway – we only used the refrigerator and microwave. We slept really late (early morning of the following day) and I woke up about an hour before check-out time so we didn’t have time to go swimming in the indoor pool (bummer!) but overall, we all had a great time!
