It’s a new year for all of us. We spent our new year in Laguna with the family (our first NYE family reunion after the pandemic started in 2020). My gosh, we are still recovering from HDMF and the kids and are still coughing from time to time with sore throat! Accck! Anyway, time to get myself motivated to do things around the house because I actually have time to do stuff. In the past year, I just felt very tired and sluggish for some reason (might be because of mercury retrograde or something haha) but this time, I find myself trying to be more productive. I posted multiple TikTok videos because I felt inspired.

Yesterday, I did our laundry.. it’s been a long time since I did that myself because my father-in-law is kind enough to do those chores for me and the kids every morning. Grateful to him for doing it without being asked. I decided I would do it myself starting this year because it makes me feel productive as well. Thanks to my husband for setting up our old washing machine – it’s about time we put it to good use (we last used it in 2016 and thankfully it still works great).

I have a few things on my list of to do things this year – including posting more on my blog, editing the family videos from 2022, prepping the kids for school this coming S.Y., sorting my clothes/personal stuff, old baby stuff of the kids then sell them as mush as half the original price (haven’t yet decided on the final selling prices) since they don’t use it anymore and we don’t have plans to have more children. Our 2 daughters are enough so we can continue to live our lives comfortably. Also, renovating our 1bedroom condo so we can have it rented out asap. It can be another source of income so that can pay for its dues. Family travelling might have to be postponed this February because financially, we have to focus more on the important stuff. In one of the live tarot readings in TikTok, I asked someone if it’s a good idea to travel with family in the immediate future (we originally planned it this Feb but I was advised to do it at a later time – so yeah, we have postponed our supposed Bohol family trip this year. My new year resolution is to be more productive and be more focused on my personal goals. This year, I wish that my family and friends stay healthy, safe, and happy. 🙏
